Turns out, my trying to post once a week back in 2015 didn't go as planned.. Two years later and here we are, back at it again and what an amazing two years it has been. From moving into a beautiful home, starting a new career, getting married to the most incredible human, and continuing my DIY journey.
Thanksgiving is just a few days away, and I have been busy building and painting, which is why I have decided to continue with my blog and keep everyone updated on what I have been doing.
I have been rearranging my house, like always, and decided
that I wanted to do something a little different with the décor. I have always
had hand me down art and wall décor, so I decided that I needed my house to be
more ME and my wife and less OTHER people, i.e my mother. Although my mom has
some seriously great taste, and I have always loved what she has given me, I
think what I decided to do is just a little more my style.
Feeling festive, I decided to make a pallet Gather sign to
hang in my dining room, and I LOVE it! It looks so great on the wall, and I just
feel like Thanksgiving should be all year long. I would weigh 700 lbs, but it would totally be
worth it.

I showed a co-worker my gather sign, and she fell in love,
so I made her one! She wanted it to be super “Fall-y” so I “Falled” it up with
some pretty leaves I had from another project. I think it turned out pretty
dang great!

Last but not least, to kick off my blog, I have decided to start doing a little weekly "giveaway" to my devoted followers. This week for Thanksgiving, I will be giving away this Thankful sign, along with a $10 giftcard to Starbucks to keep up the energy to cook all day on Thursday, and an Epsom salt and Essential Oils bath to relax after cooking all day! To enter to win, all you will need to do is like and share my page, Jenna's Gems on Facebook, and you will be entered. Simply type in @jennasgemz in the Facebook search bar, like, and share my page! I will be drawing a name on Wednesday morning, and will deliver to you if you are not too far.
I will be posting again this week! Thank you, all! I am excited for this new chapter in my life, and to get to share it with all of you!
xoxo
Jenna
